Why use Instagram hashtags?
You use a hashtag to make your post to be known easily by your followers. Your followers can identify your content easily when you use a hashtag. Hashtag encourages audience interaction and engagement. When you post your product on Instagram and use a hashtag, your followers will engage on your post more than those posts that don’t have a hashtag. HOW TO USE HASHTAGS FOR INSTAGRAM
You can choose a hashtag that makes sense for your product. Here are some of the examples of hashtags.
- A hashtag can clue you in on industry trends.
That is, you can be the first to know what is trending. It can be breaking news, new videos, new hit songs, and fashion, among others. Trending hashtags can help you know about your competitors through tags, and this helps a lot to know what people are thinking or saying about your brand or products.
- Branded hashtags.
Branded hashtags are hashtags you use to brand yourself or your products. This helps you to market your Instagram page; hence you may get or attract many followers, and also, you can benefit from it by selling your products. For example, #brand name hashtag #new dresses arrival, #new shoes.
- Hashtag encourage audience interaction
The hashtag helps you to interact with your followers and the people you follow them to. It creates room for interactions; hence you will end up getting information about your followers and understanding their demands. When you interact with either customers or followers on your page, they can tell you your flaws and strengths, which helps you improve your weaknesses or products.

- You begin by opening Instagram and tap the search icon at the bottom.
- Search the search bar at the top, typing the phrase or keyword you want.
- When results appear, tap the phrase or a similar one. The search brings you to the page or a page related.
- You might not be able to find a page when you search using a specific keyword.
- Finally, when you find the page you are looking for, you can save the post by tapping the icon on the right corner of a post or screenshot.
